Multiple-sheet reports - XL Report.NET Screenshots

Multiple-sheet reports

This feature requires you to specify the name of a base dataset in the MultisheetAlias property and the name of one of the dataset's fields in the MultisheetField property.

Excel allows creating worksheets on the fly. XL Report profits by this possibility and introduces multiple-sheet reports. Each record in the base dataset corresponds to a separate worksheet named after the value of the dataset field that is used as a source of worksheet names. So you get the workbook with sheets named after your data.

We just specify the name of the dataset to be used as a base dataset for the multiple-sheet report and the name of the field that supply us with worksheet names.
