Totals

To summarize data, you make your customer click the AutoSum button in Excel worksheet or use the SUM column option in XL Report template.

Subtotals

To insert automatic subtotals you should group the data in a column and use summary options in columns you want the subtotals to be calculated. To group your data, use the GROUP column option in XL Report template.

Nested subtotals

To create nested subtotals, use the GROUP option more than once. This time we decided to insert subtotals for two columns and hide some of the detail data.
