Delphi Components Reports Excel - AfalinaSoft XL Report Quick Demo

On XL Report Quick Demo

Quick Demo is meant to show you XL Report features. The project includes several sample forms following XL Report Developer's Guide. Each form demonstrates the solution of the specific task, both described in comment area.

To achieve the result we recommend you to launch QDemo.exe, having opened its source files and the documentation simultaneously. XL Report Developer's Guide describes each form, you can see it in demo app, and in IDE, and you can study the sources in detail.

Each sample form contains two buttons - Report and Template. That's a reflection of XL Report main idea - it uses report templates. The templates are Microsoft Excel workbooks placed in /QDemo/Templates folder. The templates were created in Microsoft Excel 2000, but you can also use Microsoft Excel 97 patched with Office 97 Service Release 2 (you can download it here).

DBDEMOS

Quick Demo uses DBDEMOS tables from Delphi installation CD. If you didn't install DBDEMOS during Delphi/C++Builder setup, you can install it now. There was no intention to make a finished app with logical DB structure - the project is intended to just show XL Report features.
